A Pure Heart

A pure heart, that's what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee

A heart that hides Your Word
So that sin will not come in
A heart that's undivided
But one You rule and reign
A heart that beats compassion
That pleases You, my Lord
A sweet aroma of worship
That rises to Your throne

Heavenly Father;

How can a man keep his heart pure?

How can a man keep his ways straight?
How can a man walk in complete purity in your sight?

How can a man be righteous in his ways?

Even in my thoughts I sinned.
How can my heart & mind be made pure?

James 1:13-15
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is fullgrown, gives birth to death.

Father let not temptation come near me, I surrender all of thoughts to you.
Allow not even my thoughts to sin against to you
All that I am, all that I have, all that i will be, it's all in your hands

John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said,
"Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Father thank you for giving me Jesus, the very lamb of God who takes away my sin.

2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Father I know that i am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. I am assured of my salvation, by having faith in Jesus. Yet Father it is my desire to walk in purity & holiness. Father I need you to help in this.
Thank you Father for providing me a way to you. And that is through Jesus, the only way, the truth and the life.
I have eternal life simply because of what Jesus did for me on that cross.
Thank you Jesus for everything.
